  13. Marie Strong was a wonderful mother to Jonathan and June, loving wife to Andrew, and a generous and loving grandmother to Mhairi, Lorna, Emma, and Laura. She devoted her life to the service of her community and was an inspiration to all those who knew her. Her family was left devastated by her passing earlier this year and created this fund to support the hospital that was instrumental to her early diagnosis of cancer. While her loss can never be replaced, her family hopes that the funds collected by this tribute can be used to support other patients and families as they journey through the challenging experience of cancer.
